1 box Devils Food cake mix (mix per directions – I substituted my water for buttermilk)
1 8 oz. cream cheese
2 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1/2 c. melted butter
1 1/2 c. shredded sweet coconut
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. chocolate chips ( I used a mix of white and miniature chocolate morsels)

Preheat over to 350 degrees.
Mix cake mix according to directions and set aside.
In a separate bowl, combine cream cheese, powdered sugar and butter and beat until smooth.
Spray a 9×13 glass baking dish with non stick spray.
Add coconut and pecans to bottom of dish. Then add cake mixture and spread evenly. Drop spoonfuls of the ream cheese mixture in cake batter and swirl a little with a knife. You want to keep these mostly intact and raised higher than cake batter. Sprinkle with chocolate chips.
Bake for 45-50 minutes until chocolate cake is done.

    Here is a cake recipe for you too try:

    Chocolate Mayonnaise cake:


    4 cups of all purpose or cake flour
    2 cups of granulated sugar
    1 cup of cocoa powder
    Pinch of Salt
    1 tablespoon of Baking Soda
    1 tablespoon of Baking powder

    Put all dry ingredients in a fine mesh sieve and shake over mixing bowl

    Wet Ingredients:

    1 1/2 cups of Luke warm water
    1 to 1 1/2 cups of Mayonnaise ( that replaces oil & eggs)
    1 tablespoon of vanilla

    Beat until well mixed
    Preheat oven too 350 degrees and bake for 45 to 55 minutes. Stick a tooth pick or a butter knife in the center if it comes out clean then it done.

    This recipe is 100 years old and still good in 2022 it is devine.
    Give this a try it's so moist you can't taste the Mayo
    Fyi: don't use miracle whip must be Real mayo like HELLMAN'S.

    I also put a layer of chocolate chips after the pecans.

  10. I made an actual German chocolate cake in a bundt pan once and mixed the frosting into the batter after I put it in the bundt pan, it came out amazing ( surprisingly ) but now I'm gonna make an earthquake cake 👍
