Hollandaise Sauce:
2 egg yolks, room temp
1-2 teaspoons lemon juice
Unrefined salt & pepper
6 tablespoons unsalted butter

  1. I’m the middle child out of eight, so I started using food as a substitute for attention and comfort from a very early age. Because diabetes runs in my family, I was well aware that it would likely affect me at some point. I simply carried on eating what I thought was a somewhat healthy diet. In May of 2019, I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. My doctor put me on meds.

    Even with the meds things went the wrong way. I realized I needed to change my way of eating in order to improve my health. Fortunately, my nurse recommended a keto website. And decided to try keto diet. Ever since i went on keto, my type 2 diabetes started gradually improving. I gradually lowered my diabetes medication, untili could go off it completely by February, 2021.

  11. I am 53 years old raised on a 200 acre farm our chickens / hens were fed Pellets and Chicken Scratch…. In their pen …. Part of an article…. because this confused me with GMO — There is no nutritional difference between chicken products in which chickens have been fed genetically modified crops versus chickens that have not.   15. I miss your content where you cooked food instead of just better for you processed foods. I understand both are important. Most of us cant afford to eat all the processed foods you reccomend. Showing us how we can make similar foods would be a better choice in my opinion.

Iv been on keto 5wks and have lost 13lbs….l thought ld watch this wen it appeared on my feed…dont have any of those products in the uk…l did buy a keto loaf online…it cost £10 for the loaf and £5.00 for delivery and this was within the UK…l dont think l will bother again…it was very chewy and had strange texture…anyhow l will just carry on with wot lm doing lm sure l will get to my goal eventually….

  18. The ketogenic diet is f'ing stupid. If you eat that way for a long time you are going to get heart disease. I was doing it for two months because of type 2 diabetes and my LDL went from 100 to 150. It was ridiculous. I was stupid. Don't be stupid. A traditional low fat high fruit and vegetable diet is the healthiest way to eat. It doesn't matter if you have diabetes. You can can control your blood sugar levels just as well by eating fruit, beans, lentils, whole grains, potatoes, and even pasta! It's the fat that causes insulin resistance, not carbohydrates or even sugar. It obviously is good to avoid high glycemic foods until you get your blood sugar under control but you don't have to be in frigging "ketosis" to do that. It is stupid.

  19. 40% of my diet is carbs and I am in very good shape, Carbs, fats and proteins all have good and bad versions. There is nothing wrong with eating the right kind of carbs, just stay away from the junk like high sugar foods cake, donuts etc.
