  1. I LOVE the objective, scientific, and unemotional way that Dr. Gray explained this.

  2. Many asian people eat the foods which Paleo dieter or Keto dieter would hate(lots of rice, for example). but they seems aged slower. well. I guess every special diet would have its own benefit, but sometimes I think those are too extreme. Hollywood actress could live with that, because she would hire the pace maker to supervise her. but average people can't. Let's just eat mindfully, carefully, and enjoy what we enjoy.

  3. I'm just gonna speak from my own experience. Being on a keto/low carb high fat lifestyle makes my skin my oily/ luminous which hence makes me look younger 🤷🏻‍♀️

  4. I look younger after keto. I was vegan for two years ruined my skin as I had issues with carbs in veggies n fruits. I’m vegetarian keto I love my keto glow my skin is beautiful before keto I had dry pale skin. Now burning fat I glow. I don’t have diabetes I got fed up of being sick inflamed and carbs were not good for me personally, just my experience.

I eat lots of avocado, nuts, olives and fresh delicious oils this gives my skin the smooth texture. Keto’s not for everyone and mines made easy by buying from trusted shops that sell keto goodies.

Regarding diabetic side, I can’t comment as I’m not diabetic everyone is different and one thing for me it’s not a diet it’s a life style.

Keto periods suck. They are less painful but for some reason you blood is thinner than when on high carb diet so you do go from perfect iron to anaemia in a day. I’ve found for me I’ve had to have carb regress if my period is so bad.

The video is very informative although I see it based around weight loss and skin makes a change from health. Thanks for sharing.

  5. the inflammation from simple carbohydrates for sure caused me to have cystic acne, as well as eczema. I wish people could see that these inflammatory foods cause soooo many issues. I wish I had known it earlier in life. Complex carbs all the way.

  6. The way Halle looks is due to a lifetime of taking care of herself. She has probably worked out almost everyday of her life and watched every piece of food that enters her mouth. Did she have some surgery? Maybe, but you cannot look that healthy without taking extremely good care of yourself. Don't hate on her because she was exercising and eating her veggies while you sat on the couch and ate ice cream.

  7. I think Halley misunderstood the burning of fat.
It's not that the body burns the fat that you eat. It burns it's own stored fat.
If you eat too much fat it won't do that.

  8. There may be a nugget of truth in keto slowing aging. High blood sugar increases collagen destruction, so lowered blood sugar should technically preserve collagen.

  9. Although lots of fruit, vegetables and good protein helps significantly, it is not a guarantee of extraordinary skin. Exceptional overall care to include diet, exercise, rest, hydration, topical additives + elective procedures contribute to the outcome we tend to see in celebrities. Look and learn, but do not become obsessed. Expect “Even Greater Things,” in 2021! 10. Wasn’t expecting that grain of salt part🤣🤣🤣🤣hilarious

  11. Me at dentist. 'What can we do for you?'. 'Can you make me look like Halle Berry, please'. 'Mmm, miracles don't happen on a Monday'..

  12. I’ve been keto for almost 2 years. In addition to losing about 60 lbs and weighing less than when I was a teenager, my skin is so much better, I never need to snack, my energy and mood are great, and so many more little improvements! I highly recommend at least giving it a try!

  13. When I quit sugar and cut back on carbs, my acne improves. I just can’t always keep up with it. I have a sweet tooth

  14. Shes like Jlo both have great genes plus exercise good nutrition and skin care, hrt etc. cosmetic procedures very few but well done. I see many celebrities that overdo surgery and other procedures and look terrible or unrecognizable

  15. I'd love a video on eating based on blood type. I've been a vegetarian most of my life and don't crave meat whatsoever (in fact the taste makes me gag), but I love the taste of veggies in general. Been tested for iron and no problems there. I'm curious if that has anything to do with blood type.

  16. Yes Keto is the way to go!! But do it the "RIGHT WAY" don't fall prey to the processed food with cool packaging.

  17. Keto has helped this 60 something woman lose 25 pounds when nothing else worked. My blood pressure dropped considerably and is excellent. Aches and pains are gone. I feel good and life is good. Kudos to Halle!

  18. After suffering with psoriasis for quite a few years, after goig keto in January, 2019, it started clearing. Within a couple of months, it was GONE!!!…and has not returned since. (I am still doing keto, although I have never had diabetes.)

  19. Thank you for talking more on keto. Since doing metabolic ketogenic theorpy I've shrunk my grade 3 cancer brain tumor and my acne went. I'm 41 and always had acne. Keto is amazing. Book I read was summary of cancer as a metabolic disease by Dr Thomas seyfried. It honestly changed my life x

  20. These people need to start telling the truth they're not aging because of genetics, look at the parents.

  21. Halle Berry had plastic surgery she has the scar on her chin and next to her ear. Wish celebrities where more honest.

  22. She said she had type 1 and she cured it… I believe her. She was attacked for saying this and people started insinuating that she was miss diagnosed and had type 2.

  23. That she has diabetes, this should have aged her in the first place?? Did doing keto for her, reverse the damage she would have done from eating badly to get diabetes in the first place?? Doesnt make sense to me that the damage from diabetes doesnt show. Can you comment please Dr Dray.

  24. she had amazing genes… and probably losing sugar has added benefits for wellbeing

  25. People dont give enough credit to…literally being black. We have a natural sun protective factor of up to spf 15 just because of our skin colour.
People say 'black don't crack' for a reason. Look at Morgan Freeman. He looks like an ageing man but he's looked the same age for his entire career.

  26. I'm 60 and my partner is 53. My partner was getting migraines more than once per week. I had been keto, paleo and finally just no sugar, gluten or unfermented dairy. He went off gluten and followed my basic diet and the migraines went away permanently. No migraines for 4 years and counting. It was shocking. I do believe migraines can improve on some of these diets. I personally believe it was gluten because we aren't perfect on the sugar or dairy. Neither of us will touch gluten with a 10 foot pole. She looks great and the diet is perfect for diabetics. Still it's mostly money and good genetics.
