How To Make Healthy BBQ Pulled Chicken

BBQ Sauce Recipe:

Coleslaw Recipe:

Clean and trim around 5 medium/large sized boneless skinless chicken breasts (2.5Lbs/ 900g)
Add the breasts to your crockpot
Cover with 1 1/2 cups (400g) of my low-calorie homemade BBQ sauce (or sauce of choice)
Distribute the sauce evenly over your chicken breasts
Cover, and cook on high for 4 hours or low for 8 hours

Once you’ve waited…
Take two forks and pull your chicken apart
You’ll know its done when it pulls apart without ANY struggle

Macros Per 4 (Oz) (113g)
128 calories, .93g Fat, 5.54g Carbs, 24.44g Protein
It’s a great alternative to pulled pork and you can hardly tell the difference

  1. Which buns do you prefer using? I find this is where I can go overboard with the calories (could literally eat 3 or 4 of these in a row if it's anywhere near as good as pulled pork). Making this tonight so for now I'll just go with the lowest calorie ones wal mart has. Thanks!

  3. I made this today and it was so good, I added onion into the slow cooker and a little bit of brown sugar, and fresh garlic to the BBQ sauce and it was so good!
