I wanted to see what would happen if I ate the same thing every day for 1 month; the same keto diet meal combined with intermittent fasting; or rather, the same daily keto meal with OMAD – One Meal A Day. Would I get sick of it? Would the weight loss and fat loss results be worth it? In this video, I share that experience!

ARE YOU STRUGGLING TO STICK WITH YOUR DIET? I welcome to you watch this short video:

I believe the clean and healthy version of the ketogenic diet, combined with intermittent fasting, or even OMAD (one meal a day), is the most long-term sustainable way of eating for me, and in my opinion, the only diet option for anyone with insulin resistance, pre-diabetes, or type 2 diabetes (obviously consult with your doctor first). In this video though, a large part of the motivation to do this 1 month keto diet challenge was to investigate and validate (or invalidate) preconceived notions, like how we assume it’s impossible to eat the same thing every day.

Throughout our weight loss journey, when we seek answers, Diet and weight loss motivation is often blind lip-service with inspirational music as a backdrop, but I much prefer actionable steps to succeed. Even if my particular suggestions that have worked for me don’t jive with you, I’m confident the underlying reasons are ubiquitous, and my hope is that by clearly understanding the root causes (as opposed to just the symptoms), you’ll be primed to figure out your continuity plan that works for you!

  1. Ok, just figured out that with the new changes on YouTube, I was not getting your notifications, and just changed that.

  2. Dear Maurice,
I am "not ashamed, but maybe close to should be?"….that it has been 1 yr since I watched your video. I am not sure why you went off my radar? But I am glad you are back in it. …. Have rewatched your video, and do feel challenged to do a facsimile of what you have done, for my health and well being!?….
Want to thankyou for your perseverance and for sharing your ideas!!

  3. Great video but I have noticed that ur 3 strips of bacon is 390 calories? Are u sure that's correct? I'm from the UK so I thought maybe the calories may be lower in the UK but having googled it, it seems like they are around the same. I would estimate 3 strips of bacon as being 150 kCal or lower. Are you sure you haven't mistaken the number of calories? Are you able to double check and get back to me as I usually eat a similar ketogenic meal and it's got me pretty confused now!??

  4. I stumbled on your channel while looking for a minimalist fanny and I’m truly happy I did. I’ve watched a handful of your videos and I get so much from them; your videos are concise, clean, fluid, fun, organized, and relatable. Please keep up the great content, you earned a new subscriber!

  5. This was not good results…. only 20% (rounded) of your weight loss (According to Renpho) was body fat.

  6. The concise delivery of this message is highly appreciated. This should be a training video for other YouTubers.

  7. This was a very well thought out, and very well-done video. However, inasmuch as your results were fantastic, I would imagine that any adult male who cuts his intake down to under 1,600 calories will absolutely lose weight, regardless of the quality of the food. The average male, of average height (let's say 5' 8") will need in excess of 2,000 calories a day just to live (homeostasis). Either way, the quality of your food choices is what put this video over the top. Congratulations.

  8. Love the quality and everything of this video!good luck you will be a famous youtuber soon!

  9. The researcher in me absolutely digs this video. As I was watching, I immediately had questions popping in my head but you were immediately answering them. So fun! The rate at which you speak is similar to how quickly thoughts fly around in my head and I throughly enjoyed that as well. Lol. Impressive video, delivery on point! You got me! Subscribed! Looking forward to smashing through your other vids! Thanks for sharing!

  10. im starting this diet at 250 and lost like 12 pounds in a week and a half, its amazing, but man am i foggy and angry all the time.

  11. Very nice qual/quan breakdown. When I did keto I precooked hardboiled eggs and kept avocados on hand for my “fast food” meals to prevent me from just eating bacon and string cheese 🤣

  12. What would you recommend I put in place of broccoli? I hate broccoli with a passion lol

  13. Changed my life. I will never eat the same ever again. "Unless you physically trip and your face lands in a box weightlose.fitness of donuts, there is no such thing as a 'slip'." Get that mind set and you'll win again and again.

  14. This is a great video! I usually overdose on Dr Berg and Jason Fung videos but i started looking for other healthy keto vids and found this! Incidentally most of my OMAD meals are omelette variations and salads and also around 5pm 🤣 Healthy keto is the way forward

  15. If I didn't know that you lived in Toronto, then I would be horrified by the food prices. I should try this. My two meals are already eggs w/ tortilla or english muffin and chicken with rice. It wouldn't be much of a stretch to combine the two meals and sub the greens in for grains.

  16. I was diagnosed with diabetes in 2020 with fasting sugar level at 455. Did all kind of diet and workouts but fasting sugar level never came down below 100. Since past 1 month , I am on keto+OMAD and day before I tested my fasting sugar and it came down to 77. I am full of energy all day and don't feel like snacking at all. I am off medications now. ❤️

  17. I love the idea, eating same for one day ,one day a day. I want to lost weight but im so boring with cooking 😂😋

  18. Im confused by your numbers on the scale. I’m also using the Renpho scale and I’m 197 lbs but 21.5% body fat and my BMI is much higher at 26.7. Do you think it is accurate?

  19. Want to drop 5 pounds, 20 pounds or even 60 pounds if not more all without starving yourself WeightLose.Fitness or counting calories? This is entirely possible. I'd been doubtful at first, but when I began The Venus Factor, I was impressed at the results. The system is so easy to grasp and put to work in your life. I am not going to reveal to you how much I lost, but I wanted to share the information for anyone else planning to slim down.

  20. Dude. I recently found your channel and subbed straight away. I like your hacker/experimentation approach, and the clear delivery of your findings. Keep it up, telling everyone about this channel.

  21. People don't know that humans ate only a few things in their geographic area for millions of years.. Even today, people generally eat the same 20 things every day.

  22. Great video, I love the way you present and share so much in a very clear entertaining.
    Thank you,
