  1. Does anyone know what the enzymes mean on the back of the packages on each of these. I am worried it means animal rennet which I am not able to tolerate.

  2. Tried the Dubliner (Kerrygold) from Costco. It was $11 for a huge block but totally worth it. For me, it was crumbly upon slicing. I could see the white crystals from the hybrid. For me, this had the perfect amount of flavor. It’s rich to me. I thought this was a great cheese. It looks like it’s been a few years since you’ve done a review on this. I highly recommend you give this a try because it looks like myself, and a bunch of others had a much different experience. As I eat this now and look at your review I think it’s a bit different from what I am currently experiencing. Alas, it’s all subjective. Hope you can give it another try though,

  3. My girlfriend and I love this cheese (the dubliner). We get a big block from COSTCO at about and 80% price cut from the small blocks at other grocery stores. Keith, my girlfriend says, "You're Fired!"

  4. Dubliner cheese is by far my favorite cheese of all time; it's great no matter how you eat it. I often just take it out of the fridge and let it sit for about an hour before just slicing off pieces and eating it plain. It's wonderful and addictive, and if you like cheddar, I think you would love this cheese. It is expensive, though I think it's worth it. Based on Keith's comments here, I am determined to try the Trader Joe's Unexpected Cheddar.

  5. I picked the reserve one today and didn't know the difference. Haven't opened the box yet so thought I should google it.

  6. Three weeks ago I bought the Kerry Reserve Cheddar (1.32 lb block) with an expiration date of 02/27/20. The package was opened today and the cheese is covered in a dark green mold. I tossed it out a few minutes ago. My refrigerator has never had a problem with mold and is sufficiently cold enough for meats, vegetables and dairy. I bought the cheese because I like Kerry Glold butter and thought the same name brand of cheese might have a similar quality. Regretfully, I will not buy this cheese again. I still like the butter.
