  4. Loved keto for 5+ years ~ felt great, lost weight, etc.
But then had SERIOUS cardiac issue and am switching to cardiologist Dean Ornish plant-based no meat diet. It was ranked best heart diet by US News magazine for like 10 years straight. Not looking to start a fight here, but this is important and I felt I had to say something. Best to everyone.

  5. Living with the stigma of HSV 1 & 2 and not been able to have a healthy relationship was messing up my life until I got some super herbs from Dr igho YouTube channel, I haven't had any symptoms for some while now, after I did a test & I'm planning to get another test done. Am grateful & advise you help yourself also

  6. HyperKeto diet program is the greatest plan I have ever tried. Highly recommended to you all.

  7. I'm on day 14 of my keto diet and I can't say enough good things about HyperKeto. The customized keto program is the perfect solution to me – it's in-depth, simple to follow, and easy to modify. I've never felt healthier in my life!

  8. I have been on a keto diet for about a year now and I was not happy with the results. I always felt tired and hungry. I know there are other keto diets out there, but HyperKeto is the only one that really understands what you need to eat, how much protein you need to eat, etc., etc. It's been great!

  9. Hi, glad to find your channel. Do you have experience how keto effects mitochondriopathy? Sometimes I read that it helps to increase the atp production but the information is very little. Thanks

  10. Hello. My question is …is too much fat doing keto diet..damage bile?or cousing a problem to bile? Thank you

  11. Dear Dr. Ekberg!.
Some say: "The keto diet could cause low blood pressure, kidney stones, constipation, nutrient deficiencies and an increased risk of heart disease. Strict diets like keto could also cause social isolation or disordered eating. Keto is not safe for those with any conditions involving their pancreas, liver, thyroid or gallbladder."
    Is that true?????.

  12. Thank you doc for transforming my life even though I don’t have access to the quality of foods and kinds but I’m doing my best and lost 20 kilograms on keto one meal a day even if my diet is on and off for 3 months. My ulcer is cured and I have stoped taking my high blood pressure medicine. Next goal for health is my fatty liver, uric acid , kidney and most important being healthy all around. Thank you so much doc

  13. I started changing my eating habits on July 22, 2021. Stooped all sugar and all bread. Did a three day fast which did not seem all that bad. Came back and ate too much on the first meal, live and learn. 5 months out I've lost 23 pounds. At 69 years old and 5 feet I guess that's OK. I watch your videos all the time. This one is particularly helpful because I would like to maintain a little more stable amount of ketosis. However it seems to be difficult to do. I eat carbs in the way of many veggies and some berries. I do eat whole fat yogurt, organic eggs, meats, fish seafood nuts, mostly macademea . My snack crunchie is pig skins. I'd like to loose just another 3 pounds, but it's getting really difficult to do. The last month and a half I've been trying to stick to 18-6. I eat my breakfast somewhere about 1 or 1:30 and try not to eat dinner past 7 at the very latest, most often by 6 pm. Dessert is usually a small piece of 88% cocoa, but not every night. I've given up beer, not that I drank a lot anyway, pizza which I love and I only drink water coffee or tea during the 18 hour fast. It's actually not that difficult and I feel good. About every other week I'll do a 36 hour fast or maybe longer and occasionally I'll do OMAD. I can not consistently do OMAD and maintain that, because I just can't eat enough in one sitting to really be satisfied for the next 24 hours.

  14. How about a 63y/o want to be on low carb to gain weight but not getting high cholesterol because i don't want to have mentenance to take, in short low carb with healing. What can you advice for me Doc.

  15. I have been following a high fat low carb diet, along with 16/8 intermittent fasting schedule for about 6 weeks now. Recent urine testing revealed ketones in my urine, (never had this result before, no major health issues) and I think that it is actually confirmation of going into ketosis! However, bilirubin was high…is that also to be expected???

  16. I’ve been on a clean keto diet for about three months. I lost about 20 pounds, but my LDL cholesterol went through the roof (> 260 mg/dl).
What do you suggest if a strict ketogenic diet results in a huge spike in bad cholesterol?

  17. I’m borderline diabetic & I’ve started to take up Keto part time, eating carbs during the day and cut them off around 6 or 7pm. I feel my mind is more balanced & stable. Definitely feel a lot better.
I don’t think ppl need to go keto 24/7
but if they manage their carbs right everyone can better their health

  18. Then doesnt that mean a vegan diet is no good cause it's high in carbs and low in fat? They have higher blood sugar. Its just that they eat less calories and thats how they lose weight.

  19. I lost 36 lbs in 3.5 months at age 66. I was 187 lbs. down to 152lbs. My A 1C went from 5.6 to 5.1

  20. Your presentation was very educational. When you say eat more fats what type of foods are you suggesting. It would be helpful to know.

  21. Hi Sten,
When a person is on the keto diet (30%P+65%F+5%C), what happens if he suddenly increases carbs to 20% by reducing fat to 50%?
