Prior to Surgery I found Keto, and it has changed my life!!   1. Hey there! I have missed your post. So I am watching your older videos. I hope you and the family are well. I am on the struggle bus for sure. I work overnights and caanot seem to kicked the snacking while here. I do not have the issue of eating off plan until I get here. its so discouraging.

  3. So much easier when you don't have to eat like this by yourself! I'm doing it by myself and it's hard. It's just momma and I but since we don't eat at the same time it's not all that bad. I actually went to get yogurt this evening but come to find the sugars are high on most of them. None were lower than 6g… or was it 5? Anyhoo… I don't want to have the dumping syndrome thingie majiggy that I would have after eating sugar since I had the bypass 2 months ago. Soooo… NO YOGURT for me! :'( But the paper the nutritionist gave me said I could eat it! Idk… if I have known it was going to be this hard, I would never have done it lol!

  5. I hate spicy food now bc we cant drjnk water while we eat 😩😩😩😩😩. Sometimes my mouth suffers but usually I just opt out bc I get so thirsty lol

  7. Bless Little Man's heart! I'm asthmatic so I can truly sympathize! Is he going through puberty? Changes in hormones can instigate asthma. Adults who have never had asthma can develop asthma. Was part of the appt developing an asthma plan? Will they be testing him for allergies? Did they prescribe an emergency inhaler and hopefully tell him to use it before exercise as a preventative measure?

  8. So glad that you are feeling better! I started cooking keto because of my husband’s diabetes, and his #’s have improved and I’ve lost some weight that I needed to lose. I know it’s going to be helpful to you if Jason is onboard. Welcome aboard the Keto train Jason!

  14. I had this feeling for 3 days straight. The dizziness, shaking and nausea. I drank 64oz of Powerade Zero, my go to drink and I feel much better. Having vsg and keto, we just need some extra sodium and potassium. Glad you feel better!

  15. That’s how it is with my husband. He is probably just a little too high on carbs to be Keto. He has lost 20 lbs in 8 weeks though. 👍
    He still uses sugar in his coffee, which is all that’s really holding him back. He doesn’t like any of the artificial sweeteners.
