KETO BREAD RECIPE INGREDIENTS:
Basic ingredients:
► 1 cup Wholesome Yum Blanched Almond Flour
► 1/4 cup Wholesome Yum Coconut Flour
► 2 tsp Baking powder
► 1/4 tsp Sea salt
► 1/3 cup Butter (or 5 tbsp + 1 tsp; measured solid, then melted; can use coconut oil for dairy-free)
► 12 large Egg whites (~1 1/2 cups, at room temperature)
Optional ingredients (recommended)
► 1 tbsp Besti Monk Fruit Allulose Blend
► 1/4 tsp Xanthan gum (for texture – omit for paleo)
► 1/4 tsp Cream of tartar (to more easily whip egg whites)

  1. Great video – looks straightforward enough, and no hard-to-find ingredients! Couple of questions: How long does the bread stay good in the refrigerator? Also, can I freeze it? We are just 2 people and I am not certain how fast we would eat the bread. Or perhaps you could provide cooking times for 1/2 a loaf (like a mini-loaf pan?).

    I made a loaf of this today and it tastes really good. I was using bought pure egg whites (pasteurised) and my new Bamix and I was worried about over whipping them and having to throw them out. I had 2 variables so next time I will use fresh egg whites and hopefully get them to whip up properly. The size ended up about a regular slice of bread cut in half.

    I have an oven that the on knob is also a time and it only makes a quiet "ding" when it goes off and I missed it (is fairly new and I have baked much in it). I was very thankful that you had included the inside temp (and I had received my thermometer a few weeks ago) but I only ended up getting it to between 190-195 and lost my patience. But when I cut it in the middle there was only the tiniest patch that was a little bit moister than the rest so I consider myself very lucky.

    I'm looking forward to having a ham, tomato and cheese sandwich for tea tonight.

  5. Can we use egg white powder instead of egg whites? And if I can use egg white powder, how much quantity it can replace?

  6. TIP: When separating eggs do them one at a time over a saucer That way if you happen to break a yolk you are not going to "contaminate" the rest of the whites.

  7. Lovely recipe. You forgot to mention the innocent chickens and turkeys that you condemned to pain and suffering and your destruction of our planet, but your bread looks delicious. Because I do not want to condemn innocent animals to pain and suffering, I will substitute aqua fava for the egg whites.

  11. Que lamentable!!!! Que lamentable que no tenga subtitulos en español. En realidad no entiendo. Se supone que cuando se sube un video a YouTube, se entiende que millones de personas de diferentes idiomas lo van a ver. ¿No le parece que es una muestra de respeto a quienes ven el video, poner subtitulos, por lo menos en los Idiomas más reconocidos?
