A Ketogenic diet is a low-carb, high fat, moderate protein diet where your body uses Ketone bodies as fuel instead of glucose!
The goal of this diet is to be in ketosis. This is when your body is so low on glucose that your liver starts to produce Ketone bodies. A classic Keto diet usually consists of around 70-80% fat, 15-20% protein and 5% or less of carbs in a day.
