  1. Does protein shakes count as your protein? Lol sorry I very new at this πŸ™ˆ

  2. Tracking macros is starting to stress me out. I’m going to try lazy keto starting tomorrow for a month. Longer if it works out. 85 pounds left to go!

  3. Hi, just ran into this video and seen you talk about the ketocycles keto fuel and wanted to try it. I used your link to go to the website and plugged my info in and it won't except my info that I put in and keeps saying doesn't have any shipping info, even though everything was correct! And they won't answer phone! Is this place still in business?

  4. Good afternoon, i enjoyed this video tremendously! With so much information on the web regarding the different variations of Keto and decifering this macros language, your video was a breath of fresh air. I am interested in doing Lazy Keto. I've used my FitnessPal in the past and it was extremely helpful, however i wasn't always consistent in plugging in my food intake. Is it really possible to do Lazy Keto and not follow a macros regimen and still lose weight? I'm curious – thank you so much. Keep up the great content. I just subscribed πŸ’ƒ!

  5. Thank you for this! I track absolutely nothing. Can't stand to. So lazy keto is for me! I'm over cooking up anything more than a steak or chicken etc. I've done the lazy way before but kind of felt guilty. Now I'm going to embrace it 100%.

  6. Fabulous info so helpful! Freedom from fear of excessive protein or Gluconeogenesis. Thank you

  7. I've never even heard of tracking. Why would anyone bother? It sounds like a Weight Watchers approach to eating. What a way to kill the enjoyment of food. I cook keto because the results are delicious. I eat until I am full. So simple. And I just keep losing weight without even thinking about it.

  8. Hi Kait…i started LCHF in June 2021. Transitioned into a LCHF + 16:8 IF within 3weeks. Ate only what I new to be correct and never counted anything. Lost 14kg (83 – 69kg) of which 10kg in first 2months. I last weighted 69kg in my 20s, I am 52 now.

  9. I guess I am really dumb, but I need a list of "proteins" that are good to eat, I don't eat fish of any kind, so, what are good proteins besides chicken and eggs?
I would love a list of healthy, proteins, fruits, vegetables, and fats!

  10. Dear Kait
Is it at all possible to do healthy/proper Keto on a meatless, mostly vegan diet?

  11. You need to take a lone out to buy that keto shake. Idk why it's so expensive! 😭

  12. 5:59 What are your thoughts on safflower oil? I read that it's very beneficial to our health, especially blood sugar levels.

  13. Kait, is Keto safe for my dad who had a heart attack and stent? Any direction or video links would be most appreciated. Keep up the great workβ€” your videos are so informative and helpful!

  15. I just learned of lazy Keto today. I'm 55 and looking for something to help me take weight off and have more energy. Someone recommended I look into this. I have been able to do intermittent fasting and limit eating window, but I don't think that's enough. I need to work on being more restrictive, especially with carbs.

  16. English is not my native language but You speak in the way that I can understand everything. Thank You the pre diabetic state get me few months ago and Your movies are very helpful.

  17. I tried keto before and didn't lose weight. I think you hit on the issue. Not enough protein and too much fat. Now I'm on metformin and I'm going to do what you explained in this video. I found full out keto a bit too restrictive for me, but it helped my sugar numbers SO much. Very low carb is what I'll aim for. I don't need to be a supermodel, I just want to feel better. Thank you so much! (So atm, I'm only tracking my blood sugar and water, but I may start tracking carbs.)

  18. Am from Africa and was brought up cooking with vegetable oil, what other options are there regarding cooking with oil and we do also like to fry everything. Thanks

  19. My first couple of weeks I tracked everything but now I kind of know how much food I am consuming. I have lost over 30 lbs and 5 inches at my waist. Thank you for your excellent content. Really enjoy your video.

  20. Do you have a video on how to deal with emotional eating?

  21. How well does this work if I am resistance training 3 times a week and walking 15-20k steps daily?

  22. My dad has high blood pressure and takes blood pressure medication. Would it be safe for him to switch to a Keto/carnivore diet?

  23. Please, for everyone. Most important is to meet all minimum levels of micronutrients, then the macros Protein, fats, carbs. Had a couple ladies in my office last year at different time from very poor health. Both were losing weight, feeling full from eating, both had improved lipid panels from the weight loss, both were improving insulin sensitivity,……blah, blah, blah all sounds great right? No. because they had been on Keto for several years and not focusing on micronutrients, now have some severe health issues from low copper, selenium, boron, manganese, phosphorus,….Sure it is easy to get your salt, easy to get protein and water, but are you meeting your daily micronutrient needs???? Dr. Baker of the Carnivore diet eats like 5 lbs. of meat a day. Easy to get micronutrients when eating 5 lbs. a day. How about those eating only a 1/2 lbs. of meat??? It is very easy to overdue the fasting and go into extreme calorie deficit. Weight loss is easy. In the beginning falls off fast. It is also very easy (more so women) to develop eating disorders and anorexia. Weight loss is not important, Fat loss is important, but only to a certain level of 14% for men and 19% for woman in general is a good low level, below that point, bad things can start happening, loss of sex drive, loss of energy, loss of menstruation, fertility issues….. Below those numbers can be "ok" if you are an athlete and under doctors care. Sure there are male bodybuilders at 4% and 5% while on stage, they feel like crap, many have died and they are on a ton of drugs to reach that point. My whole point is to Please Be Careful. Extreme weight loss can be an issue, extreme calorie cutting will cause issues and a lack of focus on what you eat / how much can cause very severe micronutrient deficiencies. When possible, best to increase movement, resistance training, exercise….to allow for a slightly higher calorie intake and yet maintain and / or even lose weight but at a higher intake level to ensure sufficient micronutrients

  24. I choise the old early 50s British diet from the beginning of Good Calories, Bad Calories by Gary Taubes.
That was 11 years ago. My husband had strokes and we had found out he was diabetic. I feed him from the diabetic guidelines for 8 months. Every three weeks both his bloodwork and he were worse.
I myself had been starving myself fat on 1200 carefully weighed and measured calories for decades. I had an active job and went to the gym. I could barely fit a size 18. It hit me that the advice that failed me was failing him.
I also watched the Oiling of America, and threw out the lamp oils.
Two weeks later he had the first of many improvements in bloodwork. You couldcsee he was doing slightly better. Over time bloodwork was spread out. Now bloodwork is once a year. Several months after changing diets, a stranger understood him.
Weight started coming off me without starvation. Over time dropped to size 8. The hunger shakes, which I had from childhood are a thing of the past.
It was basically what you just said. Increase protein and fat. Stuck with low carb vegetables and fruits.
I have a binder, with dividers where I keep my low carb recipes for just about everything. Write them on the computer, so I can change and replace versions as they evolve. Also easy to send recipes to friends and add good recipes from friends.
I call it my Banting Cook Book.
I have recipies for mayo and other salad dressings made with cold pressed fats. I have recipies for Mexican, Greek, Italian, etc . As well as Banting Christmas treats. My one grandson needs to watch his sugar. Even know how to make low carb mashmellow. Some things like fajitas are simple. Get rid of the wraps. Make the sauce yourself. Olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt and pepper. Full fat everything.
I did buy some low carb cookbooks to begin with and some of those recipies, or versions of, are in my book. But I also must avoid gluten, which many of the recipes had.

  25. Hi Kait, is the darker hair colour a winter change?
I haven’t watched many of your vids for a while. Yes I know, I should give myself an uppercutπŸ‘ŠπŸ»

  26. Love love your videos, it inspires me to keep back on track. Question, I’m having trouble staying off snacks, is there a bullet coffee variations but without caffeine, any tips on reducing snacking?

  27. I’m so glad I came across this video! I’ve been on and with the dirty keto diet ( had good results), but it was more so short term. I wish I had this video a year agoπŸ˜…

  28. Before i eat a small meal of stewed meat served on a saucer my blood sugar reading is 84.6……after the meal it rises sharply to 203.5……why does it rise so much after an hour of the small meal?

  29. I knew when I started, that if I spent a lot of time tracking my macros, I was dooming myself to failure by making the whole process too complex. I keep mind a rough tally of how many carbs I've had each day. I make sure to get enough protein, and call it good. My weight loss isn't the fastest, but I've lost 25 pounds in about 7 months. I am happy to see the progress, and my health has improved dramatically, which is a better gauge of success anyway.

  30. My treating my type II had been more of a science experiment. Just trying things to see how my body reacts. I really need to be more active.

  31. im confused they say its hard to eat too much protein but i can eat literally over kg meat lamb chops chicken beef and can still eat more with fat, and keep getting fatter, ketovor

  32. Isn’t too much protein hard on your kidneys or other organs especially if you’re older?

  33. Forever trying to lose the last 20lbs, with the current situation that turned into 30lbs. 4 years on keto and starting to gain. Sometimes I track and sometimes I don't. But I definitely feel like it's too much fat and disorganized eating that is holding me back.
