  1. Can you do a video regarding making your own bread (without sugar) but using flaxseed flour vs. the higher carb wheat flour. Would it be ok on a low carb diet (not keto, of course).

  2. Love love love all of your videos. If you have a moment could you answer a question for me? Does black coffee have carbs? Carb manager says one carb per cup, so I've been counting them. But I drink between 3-4 cups per morning. I would love not to count them. Happy New Year to you and your family.

  3. 50 grams total? Does it go by how many calories you do a day? 1400 calories to loose weight

  4. Potatoes are not nutrient poor and when eaten within the guidelines of the carbohydrate model, are a wonderful addition. Especially if you cook them and store them first and the starch becomes more resistant.

  5. Hi Dr. Becky, so when you’re talking carbs are you talking total carbs or net carbs? Thanks!

  6. Low carb is right for me! I felt like I was slipping in to some sort of disordered eating when I felt GUILTY about having put too much courgette/tomato in to my food. Obviously it was not courgette or tomatoes that sent my weight up to 11 stone so I did not like that way of thinking personally. I want to still view vegetables as healthy. Just the lens I want to have. I know keto works for a lot of people who possibly need more meat than I do.

  7. Hello Dr. Becky, I need your advise on what should I start to reduce weight which I gained after delivery. I tried keto with fasting a few months ago but it didn't work. Now I'm desperate to reduce weight and I want to start a diet which will be effective. My activity level is very low and metabolism is also low (I guess). Please suggest a way. Thanks a lot 🙏

  8. Dr. G. If were to consume 150grams of carbs in one meal, then go on a 3day fast, can I logically view that as 50grams per day or not?

  9. I have tried and got into ketosis several times in the past and find the way of eating intuitive and not hard to maintain, however each time after about 7 days I start to feel incredibly stressed and edgy, and my heart rate starts to get faster and faster. This is even with me consuming plenty of electrolytes throughout the day. Do you feel that an extended period of low carb eating (I would guess around 50g net carbs per day for a month or so) would allow my body to adapt more easily to full on ketosis?

I have been doing 16:8 for years, without any problems, and can easily extent that to 20 hours without feeling any undue stress.

  10. I find this a little hard to follow because all of my tracking tools work on % of calories that are from carbs, fats, and proteins. So, what percentage of a 2000 calorie per day diet would 200g or 100 grams of carbs be?

  12. I love watching your videos Dr. Becky! Thanks so much for all these information. I have been trying keto diet but always failed because of hypoglaecemia. I’m scared to eat fruits or whole grain because it can lead to binge eating for me. I am sugar / carb sensitive. Just one bite of sweet fruits/ whole grain makes me relapse. I feel like I have more control of my cravings or food addiction when I do keto, but hypoglaecemia is so hard. I cannot drive my children to school. I cannot function well as mom of small children. Please help. Thank you so much! God bless.

  13. Another great video Dr Becky, thank you. Well wishes 🙏 to you, Dr Keith and your family from Canada.

  14. wow i missed this one glad i found it. as usual just what i need to hear! thanks 👍🥳

  15. Thank you so much for getting directly to the important points. So refreshing

  16. I am a 74 year old obese man who had Type 2 diabetes for just over 25 years, I was taking Metformin for 15 years then it was upped Metformin+ Gliclazide for the last 10 years..

Two years ago I saw a video about reversing Diabetes with a low carb diet. I went on a less than 75 grams of carbs a day ( not keto ) ate more vegetables & proteins and went from 344 pounds to 250 pounds in 1 year, my A1c went from 7.5 to 5.1, and I tracked my fasting glucose every day and averaged 85…

I feel 100% better, mind clearer, skin tags disappeared ,sleep better and feel like I am 40 years old again.. I believe my life has been saved and I feel I could live to be at least 100 years young… I also feel it is not a " diet " but a change of life eating pattern one has to adapt to…..Rick…

  17. Thank you. I have recently cut my carb intake by 50% and although it was low to begin with for my metabolism it was too high. It seems I got the "hunter/gatherer" metabolism with the 'farmer' diet apatite.
