1/2 cup – natural peanut butter
Sugar substitute equal to 3/4 cup regular sugar
1/3 cup – tapioca syrup
1 tsp – real maple extract
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 1/2 cups – almond flour
1/2 tsp – baking powder
1/4 tsp – salt
3/4 tsp – baking soda

Per cookie (recipe divided by 24)

  5. Love your videos… but while shortening is low carb, it isnt keto; Its an inflammatory oil – Its more of an atkins thing. And tapioca is a starch so Im not sure how it affects glucose levels so its not something I;ll be cooking with. Is there an alternative recipe? Maybe just butter – or even straight up lard?
